Listen to “Be Like That” below.
Relationships have downs and ups, and often it just “Be Like That.”
“I may be better on my own/ I dislike you blowing up my phone/ I wish I never fulfilled your ass/ But often it be like that,” the hook proclaims, before switching to a more favorable light: “But I’m not myself the nights you’re gone/ There ain’t no other way I’m moving on/ I’m not afraid to need you bad/ Sometimes it resemble that.”
While “Be Like That” is the country star’s first song with Swae Lee, Brown and Khalid previously collaborated on a remix of the latter’s single, “Saturday Nights.”
“It’s about all the various sensations you can have in a relationship,” Brown stated of the tune. “And attempting not to overthink it. When it gets tough, you want to be on your own, however then you miss out on the person a 2nd later on. I think it’s something everyone goes through.”
That’s the message Kane Brown is sending in his brand-new collaboration with Khalid and Swae Lee, launched on Friday( July 10 ). The song, which mixes country with contagious pop and hip-hop aspects, sees the artists turning off verses as they go over somebody they like (even if she pisses them off often).
